AYUSH NEET Counseling 2023: A Guide for Aspirants

AYUSH NEET counseling is an online process for allotment of seats in various Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Unani, and Siddha Institutes across India. The seat allotment is done for BAMS, BHMS, BNYS, BUMS & BSMS courses through 4 rounds of Counselling.

The counseling is conducted by the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. The counseling process is as follows:

  1. Registration: The first step is to register on the AACCC website. The registration window will open after the NEET 2023 results are announced.
  2. Payment of fees: After registration, the candidates will have to pay the counseling fee. The fee can be paid online or offline.
  3. Choice filling: The candidates will have to fill their choices of colleges and courses in the online portal. The choice filling window will open after the payment of fees.
  4. Seat allotment: The seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their rank in the NEET 2023 exam and their choices of colleges. The seat allotment results will be released online.
  5. Document verification: The candidates who have been allotted seats will have to go through document verification. The document verification will be held at the respective colleges.
  6. Payment of admission fee: After the document verification, the candidates will have to pay the admission fee. The admission fee can be paid online or offline.

The registration for AYUSH NEET Counseling 2023 will start on September 1, 2023. The candidates can register online on the AACCC website. The registration process will require the following details:

  • NEET 2023 registration number
  • NEET 2023 roll number
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Mobile number
  • Email ID
  • Aadhaar number

The candidates will also need to upload the following documents:

  • Copy of NEET 2023 admit card
  • Any Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card/Driving License, PAN Card, Passport)

Counseling Process for AYUSH NEET 2023

The counseling process for AYUSH NEET 2023 will be conducted in four rounds:

  • Round 1: This is the All India Quota (AIQ) round. The seats in this round will be allotted to the candidates based on their NEET 2023 rank and their choices of colleges.
  • Round 2: This is the State Quota round. The seats in this round will be allotted to the candidates based on their NEET 2023 rank and their choices of colleges within the state.
  • Round 3: This is the Mop-up round. This round will be conducted for the unfilled seats from the first two rounds.
  • Round 4: This is the Stray Vacancy round. This round will be conducted for the unfilled seats from the first three rounds.

The candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank in the NEET 2023 exam and their choices of colleges. The candidates can participate in the counseling process by registering on the AACCC website.
