 ICSE and ISC results 2023 declared on 14 May 2023

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, CISCE has announced today. CISCE held ICSE final exams from February 27 to March 29. ISC or Class 12 final exams were held from February 13 to March 31. 

Around 2.5 lakh candidates have appeared for CISCE year 2023 board exams. Students who are not happy with their results can apply for re-checking till March 21 through the board websites or schools. For this, ICSE students have to pay ₹1,000 per paper and ISC students need to pay ₹1,000 per subject.

The ICSE exam was held for 63 written subjects of which 21 are Indian languages, 14 are foreign languages and 2 are classical languages.

The ISC exam was conducted for 47 written subjects of which 12 are Indian languages, 3 are foreign languages and 1 is classical language.

In ISC or Class 12, a total of boys took the exam is 51,781 and the total number of 46,724 girls appeared for the exam. Of them, 49,687 boys and 45,796 girls have passed. The overall pass percentage is 96.93%.

In ICSE total of 237,631 candidates who appeared of which 128,131 or 53.92 % are boys and 109,500 or 46.08 % are girls.

Girls in both Class 10 and Class 12 have performed better than boys.
